Emily is a Sustainability Consultant in Colorado with Waste Management. She has years of experience in the sustainability and solid waste fields, and is a certified Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) reporter who helps private institutions, municipalities and corporations construct robust, quality-driven corporate sustainability reports. She holds a MS in Sustainability from Arizona State University, and a BS in Anthropology and a BS in Psychology from Loyola University Chicago. Emily is experienced in working with customers to analyze their current waste stream and develop implementation plans to help customers achieve their waste diversion and sustainability goals. She has developed surveys to assess current practices and behaviors for a variety of restaurant, M&I and Public Sector customers, and has mapped the conveyance of waste streams for several major universities. Emily has analyzed indicators to track sustainable practices in the food-service industry, researched the economics of recycling and feasibility of zero waste, developed methods to assess the sustainability of schools, and explored waste management and diversion strategies for universities.
